It's a philosophy of life.  Healthy eating, exercise and an active spiritual life have been proven to lead to a healthier mindset.  Caring for yourself and your loved ones -- and then spreading that attitude of concern to humanity as a whole -- leads to social justice.

Social justice such as supporting America's farmers so they don't lose their farms.  This means paying a fair price for fresh and local produce, meats & dairy products.  Buying local and organic is also healthier AND reduces transportation costs which helps our planet (less pollution and less gas used.)

In addition, shopping locally helps support OUR local economy (and many of Nashville's local farmers are feeding the poor with their excess food so they're further contributing to the well being of the people in the Nashville community.)

Standing behind hardworking farmers in countries that produce goods we don't grow in most states in the U.S. (like coffee, cocoa and bananas) and helping stop the unfair wages they're usually paid for their hard labor.  Stopping human trafficking, both in America and overseas, (including the practice of using children as labor slaves so that the world can enjoy "cheap goods.")

Doing all we can to heal a planet that is being damaged and systematically plundered and pillaged in the name of greed and progress.  We need to stop the global impact of injustice and pollution that is affecting the entire world...it's wrong and we should all care!

Fighting efforts by big business and nosy government types who think they have the right to mess with our food...and tell us what we can and cannot eat.  We don't want genetically modified organisms in our food (GMOs) and we don't want anyone telling us we MUST!  We're in a fight for our future, our health and our rights.  Gloves OFF...we're in the battle!

The butterfly effect is real...what is happening in other countries IS impacting our lives here in United States (think about how the ash from a volcano spreads.)  We like to think of the "butterfly effect" in one more way...setting slaves free transforms their lives so they BECOME beautiful and FREE to fly!

Our company is Whole Earth International and we care.  We have a belief that if you help save the people then you help save the planet.  People in developing nations don't often know about the damage they're doing to the environment...or they don't feel like they have a choice because they -- like every human being -- will do whatever it takes to feed themselves and their children.
